Rev. Jeff Lopo

Pastor

Jeff Lopo was born and raised in San Diego, and is blessed to be married to his best friend Kylene since 2011. They have one son, Silas, who is adorable because he’s small and that’s how it works. Jeff received his Bachelor’s of Science in Pastoral Ministries from Nyack College in 2012. Jeff has served at Canyon since 2013, first in the role of Youth and Young Adult Pastor, and now as Pastor. He was ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 2017. Jeff has a desire to see the body of Christ grow deep and wide in its knowledge of the Word and confidence in the power of Christ, “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:13). His vision is to see Canyon be a benefit and blessing to the community; so that, by using the gifts and resources God has given us, we may lead as many as possible to a saving faith that endures to the end.

Some of his hobbies include roasting and drinking plenty of coffee, reading, and enjoying time together with his wife, son, and their dog Coco.

Jeryan Hanns

Facilities & Multimedia Manager

Jeryan Hanns was born in Orange County and grew up in Long Beach. He married his wonderful wife Hillary at Canyon in 2016. He received his Associate of Sciences from Long Beach City College. With his knowledge of quadratics he then... worked as a warehouse manager, a project manager and now the manager of facilities and multimedia at Canyon since December 2017. Jeryan wants to see all ministries at Canyon equipped with the space and resources they need to be the hands and feet of Christ to all the world.

He loves watching 90's cartoons with his wife, his fluffy dog Watson, hymns, really old books and rocking chairs. Some of his hobbies include board games, puzzles and reading textbooks (he insists they're better if you read the pages in order).
